THE LAND OF MARIACHI AND TEQUILA
When you think of Mexico, you think about the Mayans, the Aztecs, the music and of course, Tequila. I think about the brightly colored houses, the friendliness and warmth of the people, the food, and of course,Tequila.
Having tried Mexican foods in England, I though not bad, but not my favorite. Then I went to Mexico, Playa Del Carmen to be exact and at a small eatery, I tasted the tacos and tortilla among other delicacies.
Let me tell you, it was not the same, it was fantastic!
I was expecting the hard shell and doughy bread that you get on the supermarket shelves. What I experienced was a taste so beautiful, that I took a vow never to eat the supermarket range again. I have stuck to that vow!
